I have never been so disappointed by a book in my life. I was sincerely, intently looking forward to learning something, and found myself instead slapped with nonsense new-age phrasing and pukeworthy, hokey erotica. This book pretends to ‘enlighten,’ but teaches nothing but a bit of anatomy that was already familiar to me. I’m deeply disappointed by it, and regret trusting the majority of the positive reviews at amazon in deciding to waste my money on it.

I do admit this book didn’t bore me, though – I was too busy contorting my face into new manifestations of horror while reading its excessively purple and presuptuous prose to get bored.

A fun topic — and the step-by-step guides in this book are certainly fun to test out — but I’m not convinced that “female ejaculation” (FE) is anything more than a group delusion promoted by hucksters pushing their books, videos, or “workshops.”

As much as I’d like to believe that the phenomenon of FE is real, it has all the red flags of pseudoscience. Sundahl is a former stripper and “herbalist” and the other authors of books about FE are equally lacking in relevant education (eg, Nina Hartley and Annie Sprinkle are porn stars and Susan Block is an outright nut). Also, there is an utter lack of high quality research in this area. Instead of actual scientific evidence, Sundahl gives us tiny, cherry-picked studies, anecdotes, and copious amounts of flaky California New Age-speak (really, really flaky!).

This book (and especially Nina Harley and Susan Block’s videos) support the notion that FE is just urinary incontinence during clitoral orgasm. Of course, there’s nothing INCORRECT with that — if it feels excellent to pee during that moment, do it! Just don’t claim it’s some magical, mystical new substance undiscovered by those stuffy, close-minded scientists.

This is one of the best books out there on G-Spotting. It has plenty of detail and theory, but you it is set up in a way that you can choose how in depth you’d like to go.

I like Ms Sandahl’s voice. She’s passionate about her subject, about women and about pleasure. This book changed how i thought about my body. Every woman should have this book!

This world needs more people like Deborah Sundahl! Anyone who is prepared to lay it on the line in order to help others deserves more than a pat on the back.

This book is clear and concise. Written respectfully and with a sensitivity that obviously comes from experience and fantastic knowledge.

The resourses section in the book are also very useful. There is a small draw back in that most of the information provided is American based. For those of us that do not reside in America this can be a small hard but with todays technology, it is not too high a hurdle.

Well worth owning this book, even those of you how can”t be bothered with a “steady as she goes approach” to sex. You will find the information in this book handy oneday! Surprise yourself. I did!
